The Music Masters Dance Band is more than just a musical group — it is a “body of water,“ where diverse musical currents flow together to create a seamless experience of rhythm, dance, and world-class entertainment.

Founded in 1995 by King Dalton, CPA, the band began as a humble passion project. What started as a small gathering of musicians in a living room quickly outgrew the house, moving to the garage, and eventually a professional office space as the local music community rallied around the vision of reviving the Big Band sound.

The band’s “soul“ was solidified when Dalton acquired a massive library of 400 classic Big Band arrangements from a retiring leader. By 1999, the group had evolved into a premier Southern California orchestra, marking their success with a landmark New Year’s Eve performance in Laguna Beach. Though King Dalton retired in 2021, his legacy lives on through every note we play.
